This saddle looks a lot like a traditional tree saddle, but it is really a treeless saddle due to the lack of hard parts. Only the pommel is made of a small metal, but flexible plate. This serves to keep the saddle in shape and to keep the withers free of pressure. This pommel is hidden in the saddle and not visible and adapts to the curve of the pony by using the saddle.
